in recent news...
We started off the month of May with a bang!
Last year, I was part of a team of journalists working on an expose series involving the former chief of the Abilene Police Department. That hard work, which most of the credit is due to our digital manager, was well rewarded at the Texas Broadcast News Awards in Austin on April 13. I am so proud to call myself an “award winning journalist.” Of course, it’s about the work and the need. Not the awards.
This is a fun story I did last month on a TSTC Program:
ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – They may be students today, but come tomorrow the bright faces at TSTC Abilene could be who you need in your corner in the event of a tragedy. 11 emergency medical technician (EMT) students led a mass casualty simulation Thursday morning on their final training before graduating on Friday.
Writing and journalism is more than a career, it is my passion.
Abilene, Texas-based journalist Karley Cross specializes in producing compelling articles, news packages, and long-form projects across diverse subjects. Her work, marked by a dedication to ethics and the truth, consistently reaches top markets, leaving little to be desired.
She also holds certifications in digital and social media marketing.
